Terms & Conditions.
The bits that have to be written down. Last updated May 2026 · effective from May 2026.
01 Definitions
In these terms, “PCP”, “we” or “us” means Property Care Prestige Ltd (Company No. 09384721), registered at Unit 4, Bromley Business Park, Bromley, BR1 4QQ. “Customer” or “you” means the person or organisation booking work with us. “Work” means any plumbing, heating, gas, electrical, carpentry, renovation or property maintenance service we agree to carry out for you.
02 Booking & scheduling
A booking is confirmed once we send you a text or email confirming the date, time and quoted price. We'll do everything we reasonably can to attend at the agreed time but can't guarantee it where preceding jobs overrun or where weather or traffic genuinely prevent it. If we're going to be more than 30 minutes late we'll always call.
Emergency call-outs are prioritised and attended on a best-effort basis, as quickly as engineer availability and travel time allow.
03 Pricing & payment
Quotes given over the phone or in writing are fixed once you've accepted them, provided the work matches what was described. If the job turns out to be materially different once we're on site, we'll stop, explain why, and give you a revised quote before continuing — you're free to decline.
Payment is due within 7 days of the job completion date unless otherwise agreed. We accept card, bank transfer and (for jobs over £1,500) interest-free finance via our regulated partner.
04 Cancellations
You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start. Cancellations inside 24 hours may be subject to a £40 administration fee unless we're able to fill the slot. Emergency bookings cancelled after the engineer has been dispatched are charged at our standard call-out rate.
05 Workmanship & warranty
All work is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. Full details — including what is and isn't covered — are on our Guarantee page. Manufacturer warranties on parts and appliances run separately, in line with the manufacturer's terms.
06 Liability
We carry £5,000,000 of public liability insurance. Our liability for any single job is limited to the value of that job, except where we are liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence (which is not limited) or for any other matter for which it would be unlawful to limit liability. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
07 Data & privacy
We collect the minimum information needed to do the work: your name, address, phone, email and details of the job. We don't sell it, share it with third parties, or send marketing without your permission. Booking and invoice records are kept for 6 years to satisfy HMRC requirements, then destroyed.
08 Complaints & disputes
If something's wrong, please tell us first — most issues are resolved with a phone call. If we can't agree, you can escalate to the Gas Safe Register, Which? Trusted Trader, or, for boiler-finance disputes, the Financial Ombudsman. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
